Apart from rolling out a new budget simulator Google Ads is introducing Bid Simulator Support for Smart Bidding that includes support for Target ROAS (return on ad spend) bid strategy.
According to the records, this is for the first time that a bid simulator support has been launched for a smart bidding campaign. Earlier, there were bid simulators but only available for campaigns using manual bidding or Target CPA.
With the help of a bid simulator, advertisers can easily understand their prospective performance at different ad levels. Moreover, the advertisers can also find the relationship between a ROAS target and a campaign’s key metrics through the target ROAS bid simulator.
The tool helps the advertiser in figuring out as to what will be the impact of a higher target on campaign performance for which it pulls up the data from auctions over the past 7 days and show the advertisers how the higher target would have impacted campaign performance if every other factor remained same.
New Budget Simulator
Like it worked in case of bid simulators, Google Ads’ new budget simulator will help the advertisers in finding out how changes in the budget might impact performance. With the help of this tool, advertisers can easily figure out their ideal budget allocation across campaigns.
Advertisers can use Google Ads’ new budget simulator for campaigns that use maximize clicks or maximize conversions.
